Join us for evening workshops where you'll paint in a fun and relaxed environment. No experience is necessary! Your canvas will be prepped with the image you'll be painting and our instructors will walk you through mixing colors step-by-step to create your own masterpiece. Our paint nights now offer a cash bar with beer, wine, soda and water, and food will be available for purchase. Your registration fee includes all supplies and instruction, food and drink are an additional charge.

Join researchers from the North Central Bird Observatory for an up-close and personal look at local and migrant wild birds. In this ongoing research project, the public will observe the capture of birds using mist nets and the collection of data including placing identifying bands on the birds. Birds are then released back into the wild. It’s a great way for families to learn about the science of bird banding. Event will take place rain or shine.
