Envision Lakeville Community Conversations on Race

Envision Lakeville Community Conversations on Race - 3rd Event
March 6, 2021, 9 a.m.-noon

Registration closes at noon on March 5
Virtual event hosted via Zoom

Our third conversation will focus on action steps and how we can enhance the Community Values and Strategic Priorities identified in the Envision Lakeville plan.

As in our past two conversations, we will periodically break into smaller discussion circles. This time, however, you will be asked to select a circle by choosing one of the following topics when you register: Education, Governance, Public Safety, Faith Communities, Arts and Recreation, and Mental and Physical Wellness.

Due to pandemic protocols, this will be a virtual event held via Zoom and preregistration is required. Register online for this event. You will receive Zoom meeting details shortly before the event. If you want to receive a confirmation email that your registration was successful, please be sure to check the appropriate box at the end of the registration form and re-enter your email as described.

During the summer of 2020, the Lakeville City Council formed a workgroup to advise the City on conducting a series of community conversations on race. The workgroup is made up of a broad cross-section of Lakeville residents who expressed interest in serving the community. The workgroup continues to meet and is making progress on setting up future citywide conversations.
