The station features patrol officer and investigator workspaces, meeting rooms, a staffed evidence management room, a forensic evidence lab, an evidence processing garage, and a booking and detention area. The facility also encompasses a secure 35,000-square-foot underground parking garage for squad cars.
The fleet consists of modern marked and unmarked patrol SUVs including outfitted crime scene squads, K-9 squads and take-home investigator vehicles. LPD squad cars are well-equipped with CAD, squad cameras, bunkers, medical bags, less or non-lethal tools and other emergency equipment.
Every year, the Police Department supports National Night Out and the First Responders Community Picnic to connect our officers with members of our community. The PD also participates in Safety Camps, Shop with a Hero, Minnesota Special Olympics events and Lakeville's annual community celebration, Pan-O-Prog.
