Ages 7-14

Fire has always been a captivating subject in our outdoor survival classes, and this fall, we're taking it to a whole new level. Learn how humans first created fire through different tools like hand drills, fire plough, flint and steel and more! Our primary focus will be on teaching children the diverse methods of safely creating fire, particularly in survival situations. Learn essential fire management techniques and develop an understanding of when and how to properly extinguish a fire to ensure safety and minimize impact on the environment. Class will also include games and how fire relates to physics, chemistry, and even history and biology!
