Indigo + Shibori

Come dip into the magical world of indigo! In this workshop you will learn how to naturally dye with indigo, learn how to make an indigo vat + a handful of traditional and contemporary shibori techniques. Shibori is the ancient Japanese form of resist dyeing that creates beautiful designs and patterns.

Your workshop registration includes:

  • A set of tea towels
  • An organic cotton tote bag
  • We also invite you to bring 2 pieces from home to dye with natural indigo
  • Instructional hand-outs with an organic indigo recipe, best practices, care instructions, shibori techniques and resources
