For ages 8-11
Come and enjoy the best of Minnesota winter outdoor activities. Each week will consist of different activities such as snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice games, and sledding! This class is perfect for the students who enjoy the outdoors and need more movement in their lives. Please bring: boots, hat, gloves/mittens, snow pants, jacket, water bottle and a snack.
Register with confidence. In the event that Lakeville School District 194 shifts learning models, class will be rescheduled or a full refund will be offered.

Ages 13 & under eligible for prizes
Youth 13 and under are invited to fish through one of the many holes cut through the ice at Valley Lake Park. Submit photos of your fish on Facebook using #YouthIceFishing. Prizes will be drawn from submitted photos. It’s a great event for the whole family. Participants must bring their own fishing equipment and bait.

For ages 7-13
Join an EcoElsa educator for a three hour “snow day” full of activities that will get your kids outdoors learning, being active, and having fun! Some activities we may do depending on the weather and snow include snowman relay race, build a better snowball launcher, snow fort engineering, snow poetry, snow science discovery, snowflake art, and snow nature art! Many of these activities are fun things your kids will be able to continue to do at home all winter long! Expect to be outside most of time so dress for the weather!

For adults or a mature 15-17 year old signed up with an adult.
This class starts up where the beginner class left off with a even longer hike allowing you to practice different snow show steps and skills. You will get to explore Ritter Farm Park like you never have before with a naturalist along to point out interesting things along the way. Make sure to dress for the weather as the whole program will be spent outdoors! Snowshoes will be provided, and participants will be instructed on how to use them. So you can learn a great activity you can enjoy doing throughout the winter.
