June 18, 2019, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Golden Ridge Stables
Golden Ridge Stables in Lakeville offers a 5-hour day camp designed to give riders a fun-filled day of experience with reliable school horses. This program is sure to create lasting memories. Children will discover how to safely work with their horse on the ground, as well as on its back in a “hands- and seat-on” environment. In addition, the camper will play games and make a treasured keepsake. Because participation is limited to only eight riders, each child will get individualized attention, a structured riding lesson and learn fun and interesting things about their horse. For safety reasons, participants must be physically and cognitively able to ride a horse on their own. Participants are required to wear jeans and boots; riders will not be allowed to ride in tennis shoes. Helmets provided. Bring water, a snack and/or a lunch.
