Join researchers from the North Central Bird Observatory for an up-close and personal look at local and migrant wild birds. In this ongoing research project, the public will observe the capture of birds using mist nets and the collection of data including placing identifying bands on the birds. Birds are then released back into the wild. It’s a great way for families to learn about the science of bird banding. Event will take place rain or shine.

For ages newborn-6 years. Free demonstration classes are for parents or caregivers who are seriously considering registering for Music Together classes but would like to try a class with their child or children first. Registration is required. Families will only be allowed to try one demo class.

Soccer on the grass turf—the kids will love it! This is an introductory program for children to learn soccer basics and have a great time. Each week we will work on soccer skills and play fun, soccer-themed games. Soccer ball size 3 or 4 required, shin guards recommended for safety. Tennis shoes or soccer cleats required.
