    In this introductory class you will learn how to overcome stage fright and the anxiety of performing on stage for an audience. These tips and tricks are great for beginners and experienced actors.UPDATE: This class is now available with the option of taking the class in person at the Arts Center, or virtually via Zoom.   2. Pottery: Wheel Throwing & Handbuilding

    Ages 7-15

    Campers learn how to throw on the wheel, handbuild and glaze. Your child will also spend camp days working with polymer clay. Anything you can imagine you can create with clay! Bring a towel and dress for mess.

  1. Driver Safety Course Initial 8 hour (2 nights)

    August 17, 2020, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Heritage Center

    The Minnesota Highway Safety & Research Center conducts driver safety classes at the Heritage Center. Drivers 55+ may be eligible for a 10% discount on their auto insurance. An 8-hour course is initially required, followed by a 4-hour refresher class every three years.

  2. City Council Meeting

    August 17, 2020, 6:30 PM @ City Hall

    The City Council meets at 6:30 p.m.* on the first and third Monday of each month at City Hall. If a holiday occurs on the meeting date, the Council meets on the following evening. Council meetings are televised live on Spectrum channel 180, Frontier channel 184 and on this website, and are also available for online viewing after each meeting.

    *Note new meeting time for all 2020 City Council meetings.
