    Learn alla prima methods that enable you to complete a painting in one session while the paint is still wet. This style of painting is done in a direct, expressive style, with minimal preparation. This process can be used for still life, floral, portrait or landscape. It’s a great way to improve your technique and understanding of paint manipulation. Students of all levels are welcome. Supply list available at registration.

    Demonstrations will cover hand-building and basic wheel-throwing techniques for beginners, as well as more advanced concepts for intermediate students. Students work at their own pace with both individualized and group instruction. Bring an old towel.

    Mind-blowing myths or scientific facts? Join Science Explorers for this in-person class as we confirm or bust strange myths and wacky urban legends. We will ask the crazy questions, develop hypotheses, then we may smash it or crash it to determine if the myth is confirmed, plausible or busted. Note: M&M's (non-peanut variety) and Pop Rocks may be consumed at this in-person class.
