Lakeville Area Arts Center

  1. Kids Clay Workshop: Textured Mug or Pencil Cup

    For ages 6-12

    Starting with a clay slab, we will add fun textures, embellishments and glaze in bright shiny colors. Each workshop meets twice, once to make the project and another to glaze.

  1. Driver Safety Class 4 hour Refresher

    February 20, 2021, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM @ Heritage Center

    The Minnesota Highway Safety & Research Center conducts driver safety classes at the Heritage Center. Drivers 55+ may be eligible for a 10% discount on their auto insurance. An 8-hour course is initially required, followed by a 4-hour refresher class every three years. To register, call 1-888-234-1294, and tell them you would like a class in Lakeville.

  1. Guided Adult Adventure Snowshoe Hike

    February 20, 2021, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Ritter Farm Park

    For adults or a mature 15-17 year old signed up with an adult.

    This class starts up where the beginner class left off with a even longer hike allowing you to practice different snow show steps and skills. You will get to explore Ritter Farm Park like you never have before with a naturalist along to point out interesting things along the way. Make sure to dress for the weather as the whole program will be spent outdoors! Snowshoes will be provided, and participants will be instructed on how to use them. So you can learn a great activity you can enjoy doing throughout the winter.
